Soddy Daisy Smiles is the practice Dr. Mandy Shearer made her own in 2008, and renamed for the town she calls home. Today she and Dr. Bob run it together as a husband-and-wife team, welcoming families from across the Tennessee Valley.

Why Soddy-Daisy

Home is where the heart, and the practice, is.

Both Dr. Mandy and Dr. Bob earned their degrees at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. A Chattanooga native, Dr. Mandy returned home to practice; Dr. Bob moved to the area at fourteen. Together they chose Chattanooga for its small-town charm, scenic beauty, wonderful schools, and closeness to family.

That same neighborly spirit shapes how they practice: gentle, judgment-free care, time to answer every question, and modern technology that makes visits faster and more comfortable, like same-day porcelain crowns that save you a second trip.

Dr. Mandy Shearer, DDS

Family & Cosmetic Dentist

A Chattanooga native, Dr. Mandy earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where she received the Compassionate Patient Care award and went on to teach as an Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry. She welcomes your entire family, from children to the elderly, and is dedicated to treating everyone the way they want to be treated.

Dr. Robert Shearer, DDS

General & Implant Dentist

Originally from Southern California, Dr. Bob moved to the area at 14 and attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry alongside Dr. Mandy. They chose Chattanooga for its small-town charm, scenic beauty, and closeness to family. He completed a mini Dental Implant Residency through the Medical College of Georgia's Maxi Course and is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentists.
